Endurance
Weekend overnight soak runs on the Windows POS terminal
How it works
Each weekend the Windows point-of-sale terminal runs a continuous overnight selling session — sales, parked sales, recalls and refunds, cycle after cycle for around eight hours — while its processor, memory and resource use are recorded. Each run is graded:
Green
Ran steady to the end — stable cycle times and resource use, no crash.
Orange
Survived but degraded — slowing cycles, climbing resource use, or repeated hiccups.
Red
Crashed or stopped responding mid-session.
